Our goal on this site is to make you familiar with Judy, her Country Kitchen and all the wonderful mouth watering treats that Judy makes. Judy was born back on the prairies in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Her parents and indirect family were grain farmers and as most farmers go they like to eat well, as well as growing grain. That being said, at a very early age Judy began to learn the basics of cooking and baking all sorts of wonderful treats for the farming community. This became Judy’s time to do the things she loved. As anyone will tell you who lived on the prairies, everyone of the ladies had their very own secret recipies that had been handed down through the generations and they were treated like gold, hidden away in lock boxes, behind pictures, underneath the mattress. Well once every year the county fair would happen and of course one of the biggest draws was the County Fair cooking & baking awards. Guess what all of a sudden all of those very precious and valuable recipies would come out and the ladies were all going’ for 1st place cause 2nd was no good. Over time their were some wonderful Cookbooks produced with just unbelievably tasty and mouth watering recipes. Most of the ex prairie girls who now live in beautiful British Columbia continue on with these cookbooks and handed down recipies but with Judy it is different. Judy is now retired from her 37 years of work 32 of which was in banking and has now taken up her second profession one which she dearly loves and that is to cook and bake her way to heaven. I can attest to you that any of Judy’s product’s you try will be very addictive and you will have to indulge yourselves over and over agan.
